Welcome to Troop 407

Introduction

Welcome to the adventure of Boy Scouts! Troop 407, established in 1982, is committed to providing a quality Scouting program of character development, citizenship training, and mental and physical fitness to boys age 11-17 in the Novi area. The troop is boy-led, with the troop committee run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to the values of Scouting and who work to instill in the boys new skills, good citizenship, and adherence to the values of Scouting as outlined by the Boy Scouts of America. Chartered by Holy Family Church, we have over 60 active members in fifth through twelfth grades. We don't claim to be the best troop around, because no one troop is best for everyone. Each troop has a different style and emphasis, but our scouts enjoy a variety of activities in a structured, yet fun, friendly and casual environment where each scout can truly do his best.
